Holly has had her hands in lighting since age three, when her family started renovating her childhood home. From helping her dad choose lighting fixtures to shimmying into walls and doing her own electrical work, Holly has always had a passion for the connection between art and science that lighting design presents.
While obtaining her B.S. in Interior Design, Holly was reminded of her passion for lighting. She began to focus on lighting and ceiling design in her projects, adding another layer to every space. In her second year, industry professionals visited the career fair at Wentworth, opening Holly’s eyes to the world of lighting design.
Beginning in her third year, Holly chose to complete multiple Co-Ops in Lighting Design and became a TA in her lighting studio. In her own projects, Holly pushed herself to focus on how lighting could not only complete but also enhance any space she worked on.
Outside of her professional career, Holly enjoys camping, hiking, and traveling with her partner. She also engages in dance, group sports, and animal rehabilitation. Her interests have influenced her passion for natural spaces and lighting, as well as the relationship lighting has with mental and physical well-being.
