HLS Receives 2025 LIT Design Award for Workplace Lighting Design

We're thrilled to announce that HLS received a LIT Design Award for Workplace Lighting Design on a confidential corporate fit-out located in Charlotte, NC. Congratulations to Lead Designer Renée Leskowat, IALD, CLD, LEED AP, WELL AP, supported by Principal Diane McNabb Rodriguez, on this incredible accomplishment.

This project is a prime example of how thoughtful workplace lighting design goes far beyond simply illuminating a room. Because most of our day is spent in these environments, the lighting must support focus, comfort, and well-being. In this office, the design layers ambient, task, and accent lighting to create a space that’s both energizing and inviting. The result is an environment that encourages productivity while maintaining a sense of playfulness and visual interest, striking exactly the right balance for a modern workplace.
